The Brief
When Fisher came to Obsidian Custom Coachworks, the requirement was specific: build a vehicle that keeps the executive team fully operational between every stop on the calendar.
Not comfortable. Not convenient.
Operational.
That distinction matters. Comfortable means good seats and a smooth ride. Operational means three monitors, a dedicated workstation, conference seating, integrated controls, and a cabin environment that is continuous with the office — not a break from it.
The Build
The foundation is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter — the same platform that carries heads of state, professional sports teams, and C-suite executives across every major market in the world. The platform is proven. What Obsidian adds is everything else.
The workstation anchors the rear of the cabin. A full walnut desk with integrated storage, three-monitor configuration, dedicated laptop surface, and a premium audio system. This isn’t a folding tray table with a laptop balanced on it. It’s a desk — the kind you’d find in a corner office — installed in a vehicle that moves.
The conference section sits forward of the workstation. Face-to-face captain’s chairs with individual work surfaces, an integrated center console with system controls, stainless cup holders, and window shades that convert the cabin into a private meeting room at highway speed.
The materials match the brief. Diamond-quilted leather seating. Automotive suede headliner. Real walnut veneer throughout. Hardwood flooring. Recessed LED lighting. The same specification language you’d use to describe a private aviation interior.
The infrastructure is where most builds cut corners. Obsidian doesn’t. Aircraft aluminum framing. Military-grade electrical isolation. Pure sine wave inverters. Triple PVC insulated wiring. The systems that run this cabin are built to the same standard as the cabin itself — because a workstation that loses power an hour from the job site isn’t a workstation. It’s a problem.

The Fisher vehicle departs one location and arrives at the next.
Everything that happens in between is a full workday.
